How Great Is Our God

The splendor of a King
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice
He wraps himself in Light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb
Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Nationwide hibiscus revival

Have you read today's the Star newspaper? If you have not, read this:
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2005/9/16/nation/12055149&sec=nation

So what is so special with our bunga raya?

Let me just change the title:
Nationwide Rose of Sharon revival

The scientific name for the Rose of Sharon or rather to our local delight, the bunga raya, is Hibiscus syriacus. In short, the hibiscus. So it is our national flower. There is a biblical significance in this flower. In Songs of Solomon/Songs of Songs 2:1, it says "I am the rose of Sharon..." So who is the rose of Sharon? Our Lord Jesus Christ IS THE ROSE OF SHARON!!! A amazing isn't it?

So you might ask "So what?" For this past few weeks, I have been hearing a lot of prophecies about Penang and the country. This area will be a Godly region. Moreover, Singapore is also called the Lion City. Why can't we just call it "Tiger City", coz there are no lions in this region but tigers except in zoos. I think that there is a big significance here too. Remember, Jesus is also the lion of Judah. Yup. He is.

So...
  1. Pray for great things to happen in the future.
  2. Pray for REVIVAL.
  3. Do your part in evangelizing. Win souls!
  4. Be a good example.
  5. Impact the people around you by being a good living testimony.
  6. Be a good steward.
  7. Know God's plan in your life
  8. PRESS ON!!!

Who knows tomorrow's headlines will be:
NATIONWIDE JESUS REVIVAL

Qualities that Worship team members should have

For worship team members regarding your attitudes during worship when you are not on duty.
While the worship is on show a good example and enthusiasm by coming to the front during this time. Don't let personal problems get in the way of you worshiping God. Even if you're facing problems(love, friends, rejection, etc) there is no reason not to worship God that's all the more reason to worship God.

Ask yourself why are these problems there? why do we face these problems?
The answer is sometimes we ourselves go and look for problems which means it's all our own fault. But there is a reason behind every problem which is to grow. God wants us all to grow and through going through problems we can grow. It's the matter of how we take it.

When you worship give your all. Don't just stand and merely sing and not worship and later on say that the worship is good. Yes, it's good but when we worship it's giving our everything. It's not to be taken lightly. As for the musicians, lack of practice. One of the purposes of this blog is so that you can check out the songs that will be on. So make full use of it. Sorry if there is any delay in the posting due to unseen circumstances. If you don't know something, ask(ask and you will recieve). We will gladly help you to ourt best ability. Jesus thought his desciples through them observing, then He teaching with them helping, them teaching with Him helping and then finally they thought while He observed. So that's one of the ways we can do it. If you have any comments or complaints tell us. you can add comment at the bottom of the post please don't put it on tag board(it will dissappear).

Why is Hillsong so good? ask yourself. It's because of attitude, it's bacause of passion, support (eg. clapping during fast songs) , priority and with it comes sacrifice. We need to set our priorities right. Our first priority should always be God and nothing else. Love life or whatever comes after, Nothing should come in between us and God. If there's anything more important than God it's called and "IDOL". What's the first commandment? remember?
if you don't feel like it, don't be in the team. It's gonna cause everyone else to stumble. Remember what happened to the Irealites? because one person disobeyed the whole camp was punished and lives were the price of it. If you seriously cannot do what you have to, step down. We don't force anyone to play. Numbers don't matter, what matters most is the heart and attitude. We don't need half hearted people leading worship or playing. We should be set apart like the levites and priests. People are watching us the youth and even leaders. We're going to take this seriously. whoever does not focus on God or show a good example you will be confronted and next step you will be removed from the team. And if you want to at any point come back to the team, you have to prove that you have what it takes. We are in fact modern day levites leading people into worship. So do it with all your heart.

Josh Tan(penang) and JamesT.
